Why is blogging turning out to be difficult?

Trying to help my mom out with her blog. We are both frustrated. I know this isn't rocket science, but yet i feel inadequate in blogger world.

Spring pants

This spring pants have taken a turn from the skinny jean to the colorful and the flare. Style.com has a trend report on bright pants that range from a bright yellow harem pant to a tailored pegged leg brown pant by Diane Von Furstenberg. There are other beautifully dyed silk pants and wool trousers within the trend report, but the most interesting is the shape of the pant, which is all over the board. The skinny pant which has reigned supreme for the last five years or so, is losing its clout. The flare jean is making a return, taking a que from the seventies. Anthropologie, shobob, GAP, and Piperlime all have great styles of denim by J. Brand, Raven, and Citizens of humanity.

Top 5 favorite new drinks

I have been dieting for two weeks, and when I say two weeks I really mean one and a half. I can't have any sugar or processed carbohydrates so i am forced to use my brain and come up with solutions to alleviate my sweet tooth. For the last 5 yrs or so i have used a sweetener called Stevia and it has been a life savor while dieting. Unlike aspartame and Splenda, Stevia does not raise your blood sugar or insulin levels to make you crave more sugar later on in the day. The only downside with the sweetener is the after taste. sugar and other sweeteners are tasted instantly where Stevia takes a bit longer to register on the taste buds and can have a hint of a chemical taste.
I personally love it, unlike my mom who has a hard time adjusting to it. My favorite brand is from Brazil called Stevita. You can purchase it online or at a local health food store, but call ahead and make sure they carry it. With that said I am going to list my favorite drinks that are sweetened with stevia instead of sugar.

1. Passion fruit iced tea by Tzao, or any unsweetened iced tea
2. Unsweetened chocolate almond milk ( this really helps with chocolate cravings)
3. Zevia soda. My favorite is the Ginger rootbeer and it helps if you have an upset tummy
4. cappuccino, dry
5. soda water with cranberry juice and lemon

"Trend Reports"

One of my favorite things style.com does, is their "Trend Reports". They make shopping easier for people who are looking to add some new key pieces to their seasonal wardrobe, without the hassle of cut and paste. They also help by providing a slide show, which I have added the link to at the bottom of my post. The slide show consists, this time, of 135 pictures that scroll through each trend. Be careful to pay attention and read the heading of each picture, because the trend will change without you even noticing it.
I was a little disappointed however not to see much of Proenza Schouler or Zac Posen in the slide show. If your favorite designers are missing, check out style.com's link, at the bottom of my blog, which has a slide show for each major designer. Remember these "Trend Reports" are subjective, they are not set in sto

My new favorite past-time.

I was recently talking to a friend on the phone about people, meeting people, off of Craigslist. About five minutes into the conversation my friend and I were reading off posts to each other. I made her go onto a post which had a guy taking a picture of himself in the bathroom mirror wearing a beanie, an old red GAP sweatshirt and no pants! I almost died. His whole post was in Spanish, he was looking for a muchacho, I think...
Not only does Craigslist have personals they have a section for "platonic" encounters, "missed connections", and "rants and raves". I am currently signed up with an online dating site, but this is far better entertainment than I could have hoped for.
If you have a chance please check out craigslist.org for a cheap laugh.
